Recruitment of participants plays a major role in the TRIO programs, by taking a marketing approach you can increase your number of participants. Taking traditional methods such as demographics research and targeting a specific audience, you can filter out unwanted recruitment efforts. Once you have determined your target audience you can begin to look at what would be the best approach to recruit. Methods vary from printed publications, personal phone calls, one-on-one contact, collaboration, community campaigns and public forums to name a few.
With the right research you can prepare yourself for a successful recruitment plan.
